Synthetic resin – acrylic

Advantages – Extremely durable, high quality finish, excellent protection against moisture. Individual board seams can withstand steam at temperatures as high as 100 degrees Celsius. The most colorfast material and the most commonly chosen surface type is matte, which resists fingerprints and various stains from opening doors and drawers. Mechanical damage (scratches and grooves) can be repaired or milled, but the depth is limited.
Disadvantages – Surface milling cannot be done to any greater depth and the manufacturing process cannot produce rounded edges.

Varnished surface
.
Pros – At first glance, it is a very high-end solution for kitchen spaces. The surface is available in both gloss and matte and can be custom ordered in virtually any shade. There are dozens of types of regular samplers. These materials are very resistant to high temperature cooking and can withstand steam and hot air at temperatures up to 140 degrees Celsius.
Disadvantage – Surface finishes vary in quality depending on the technique used, which also affects the final price.
Foil
.
Advantages – Can be decorated in a wide variety of ways, including rounded shapes. Available in matte and glossy finishes, they can mimic the appearance of wood, metal, and plastic, or combine with each other in a so-called patchwork style. Foil can be bent over rounded shapes, which perfectly protects furniture from moisture and can withstand temperatures of up to +75 degrees Celsius. It also has the advantage of being inexpensive to purchase.
Disadvantages – At first glance, it lacks the “luxury” look, and if the surface is mechanically damaged, it cannot be repaired and the entire door must be replaced. Also, foil cannot create sharp cut edges like acrylic.

LAMINO [25].
Advantages – The manufacturer offers a number of so-called textured decorations that mimic wood surfaces very closely. Doors and entire cabinets are well matched and are available in many colors. LAMINO is heat resistant (100°C) and easy to clean. It is also more resistant to mechanical damage than foil and is more affordable.
Disadvantages – Doors have only sharp edges and laminate cannot be bent over the edges and must be glued. Motifs cannot be inserted into the surface, and the surface of the board must be smooth.
