What should I choose for bed linens in my bedroom?

What we say to ourselves and how we feel often depends on whether we slept well. Quality sleep depends on a person\’s state of mind. Equally important, however, is the mood in which one falls asleep. The environment in which one falls asleep, such as what kind of bedding is used, is certainly relevant.

What to choose? What materials?
When we think of bedding, the first thing that comes to mind is cotton. Often various man-made fibers are added to this, but you can also buy so-called pure cotton.
Who doesn\’t know about crepe linen? Crepe linen is a crepe fabric, and the fabric has numerous folds. The major advantage is that it does not wrinkle and does not require ironing. Furthermore, a quality fabric processed in this way is extremely soft and glides comfortably.
Another luxurious option is satin linen. Because of the need to process long cotton fibers, satin is very expensive and technically demanding. However, it is worth the investment. Thanks to its expensive production, it is light, shiny, suitable for people with allergies, and most importantly, it is almost indestructible.
Satin is suitable for warm summer nights, while expensive damask is better suited for cool nights. It is soft and has a hand-embroidered pattern. It is a denser fabric.14] modré osušky.jpg
A very warm material is flannel, but it is a bit heavier than the previous material. This is not a bad thing on winter days.17]
When choosing bed linens, one should also consider which sheets to combine with them. Again, you can choose from cotton and satin, as well as patterned jersey and warm, soft terry cloth. Also consider which prints and embroideries will suit your interior design and the width and type of bed. Thanks to digital printing, there are many choices.
